My cooperating teacher used a very interactive teaching method during my observation. he presented his lesson first. Then, he discussed about it in detail. He is well-knowledgeable about his lesson. He is very resourceful. He used a book as his reference and he also used some objects that can found inside the classroom as a tool to aid him in his discussion.

For me, his pedagogy was excellent and very effective. The strategies that he used made his students focus and enjoy at the same time during the discussion. They were listening and participating well during the whole teaching instruction. I can say that the teacher is loved well by his students because he is a good and an effective teacher.

During the recitation, he has an exciting way to call his students. He sings a song and gets a marker to be passed around. The marker will continue to be passed around while he is still singing but when he stops to sing, the last student who is holding the marker will be the one to answer. It was evident that the students really enjoyed the oral recitation. They were learning and at the same time, having fun. The teacher's authority inside the classroom is noticeable but he also promotes a friendly atmosphere inside the classroom. he encourages his students to ask questions about the lesson. He let them write three questions each on a piece of paper and afterwards, he asked his students to ask these questions to one of their classmates to be able to know if they learned something. It is good that he really wants his students to go home with great knowledge.
